At recess, a group of friends build a house in the schoolyard. Each of the children has their own unique skillset when it comes to fort-building, and each of them has their own way of expressing their gender identity. What's important is they are all friends, and they work seamlessly as a team despite their differences.

Beautiful, introduction to gender identity, simplistic writing style
A beautiful portrayal of a group of children unique in their expressions of gender, shown through a simple story. This is an excellent introduction to the idea of gender identity for young children, though I feel the writing style would be too simplistic for most school-aged children.
