Fergus Crane by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell - 9/10

Fergus feels lucky to be able to attend The School Ship Betty-Jeanne, where he spends his days sitting through lessons taught by pirates. Most schools cost far more than what his family could afford, and the School Ship is free. It isn't long, though, before Fergus discovers that there may be a sinister scheme afoot in his little school. Can he save his friends before it's too late?

OVERALL RATING 9/10

Fun, breathtaking, and full of heart

I was really impressed by this book. Fergus Crane manages to be an epic, cool adventure, and at the same time be full of heart and feeling. Chris Riddell's illustrations, as always, really help immerse you into the story. This book will makes you laugh and cry, and blow you away with fantastical imagery.
