A series of mishaps and tragedies force Margaret's large family to leave their farm and move to Ontario. As Margaret adjusts to this new jungle of concrete, cars, and constant struggle, she only has one thing that is keeping her going; her flying geese quilt. Through quilting, and the wise words of her late grandmother, Margaret is able to navigate her new surroundings, and even make a friend.

OVERALL RATING 7/10
I enjoyed reading this story! Although it isn't so well pieced together as some that I have read, it is still a valuable story that will bring up emotions of all kinds. I didn't find the conclusion very satisfying, which is part of the reason for the lower mark. Overall, this was a good book, just not my favourite.
