OVERALL RATING 9/10

Representation of Jamaican culture, deals with real issues

I loved reading this book, and the fact that the story is so entrenched in Jamaican culture. Another aspect I appreciated was that the story dealt with real issues, including struggles with low income and parents working in another country.
