Aristotle is a milky white kitten, and he has much to learn about the world. An old witch named Bella Donna adopts him and brings him home to her cottage to be her witch's cat. Aristotle goes about his new life in the little cottage merrily, exploring and learning about all the things a kitten needs to learn. Soon, though Aristotle begins exploring some very dangerous places, and his nine lives begin slipping away quickly.

OVERALL RATING 8.5/10
This is a wonderful book for younger kids. It is laid out more like a picture book than a chapter book, but is quite long, so it is probably best for reading aloud. The book is funny and endearing, with quite a bit of repetition. I think it would be best for kids who are around the age of five or six. Maybe as a read-aloud book, or possible for new readers to read little by little. My only complaint is that it is not broken up into clear chapters. There are breaks in the text, but it would be nice to give readers a clear place to stop.
