Eva Nine is twelve years old and has lived her entire life in an underground sanctuary. She was raised by Muthr, an omniscient robot who taught her everything she will need to know for the day when she ventures out of the sanctuary and into the world above. That day comes sooner than expected, though, when their home is raided by a huntsman and Eva must escape. Alone and afraid, Eva soon discovers that the world above is nothing like what she trained for. Thrilling, funny, and original, this book will keep you interested until the very last page.

OVERALL RATING 9/10
The Search For WondLa is actually much better than I expected it to be. The characters have realistic emotions, it is funny, and everything is very well thought-out, which are a few of my main criteria for a good book. I was, however, disappointed at the huge amount of action that it includes. I know that my preference for more calm and emotion-centric books is not universal, though, so I tried not to let that effect my rating.
PROS
Funny
Great Plot
Realistic relationships and emotions
Well though-out world and characters
CONS
A lot of action
NOTES
This is actually the first book in a trilogy. I have not read the rest of the series, but I assume they are similar to this first book. I do not usually read an entire series before reviewing it because I would prefer to read other books that may have different reviews. If I at some point do finish the trilogy, I will update the review.
