The Inexplicable Logic of my Life by Benjamin Alire Saenz - 9/10

Updated: Feb 26

The story of a boy living with his gay adoptive father and Mexican American family. When he accidentally punches a classmate, he begins to question who he really is. It explores the question of what family really means, and what matters most in life. This is an amazing story of self discovery and the value of family that is full of beautiful and honest moments.

The Inexplicable Logic of my Life is a remarkably beautiful story of selflessness, loss, and family. I loved reading it. My only criticism is that it is written in a very modern and less emotional way, which isn't really my style.
